  • An easier spelling for Coulibiac

  • Boris: I want you to know I made this. With the exception of the Blins (I subbed cabbage I sauteed with the onions and mushrooms instead) and it was DELICIOUS. I didn't sub anything else, and used salmon just like you showed. It was an absolutely amazing meal I will be making again for Christmas because it turned out so well. Thank you!

  • This.... looks like something i would actually like to eat.

    • You should, is absolutely delicious in every way. It's even a favorite amongst British royalty.

  • Why does Boris say Blin all the time? That's just Russian for pancake

  • Slavic cousine is the best! Damn it's like 3 AM here where I am and I am still watching video after video and salivating! The Chebureki looked delicious and that layered cake...I want to go to Russia now!! Oh and they love pork like we do here in Portugal hehehe !!

  • Nice

  • Iam Russian but didn't try this bjaka thing and iam 36

  • And next episode is Gordan Ramsay vs Boris cook off

  • This is Beef Wellington but Russian.

  • I do not reccomend trying to make this for supper after an 8-hour shift. By the time it was done it was 11 at night and I wanted nothing to do with myself by then. Free up an afternoon like all breads. That being said, I used pork, beef, saussage filling, onions, and mushrooms, and made brown gravy with the drippings. The grease oozing out of the meat during baking deep-fried the bread on the bottom, very good. Different recipie though. I'll try adding rice to soak up the flavour juice next time.

  • so its a russian wellington?

  • He is using gun blyat it is a glue "gun"

  • This is why we can't have Christmas at end of month, why can't we have Christmas at beginning of month

  • Boris, your videos always bring a smile to my face when I have trouble understanding the world. Not only that, I've learned quite a few useful tips along the way! Thank you!

  • I dont want to do that....because I am lazy. But mmm that must be one of the best slavic food. I am bad at cookin, but I will try it later.

  • Kuleblyat

  • How does this feed 6 people? maby with a lot of potato salad on the side yes but here in bulgaria this is one portion or maby 2

  • Boris knows french ... oh cyka blyat

  • Now I'm wondering - how'd your family like your food?

  • Aluminiumiumum... I fell off my chair laughing! Great jokes!

  • Aluminuminuminum

  • Hah!!! "aluminuminum"...!!! That word made my day.. Good job comrade...

  • I did the math, and after production costs, taxes, and simple living expenses, Boris had about 250 USD a month at this point in time.

  • I followed the чебуреки and buterbrot recepie My whole family liked чебуреки!

  • you all talk about how he is this and that .. i mean its true ! he is great ... but that mandarin peel 2:26 ...My Slav eye got it all ,i did that all the damn time when i was a kid

  • Please tell me you actually wrote the basic manual for living lol

  • Question: Can I put chicken in it?

  • For some reason I thought he was going to super glue the oranges to the tree... Then I saw the ornaments... Ok

  • 2019... simpler times....

  • I've never cooked a meal in my life and I just tried this recipe and my family loved it. I'm fkg proud thank you Boris! (Followed your video precisely)

  • After the babushka's secret Christmas pork recipe video a few years ago, I started caring very deeply about boris's happiness for some reason. When I'm really sad, seeing boris so happy in this video, excited to see his family... It really warms my heart. I hope you have a nice Christmas again this year my friend. You deserve it very much.

  • Here

  • Dance of sugar plum fairies would’ve been a bit awkward

  • I make this for my indonesian family, and the love itt. Thanks boris.

  • Gopnik Wellington

  • He said about salt, that half of it literally exploads in the water. Literally because salt (NaCl) is half Na or Sodium. Which exploads in water. We don't deserve Boris content

  • You soak rice and rinse before cooking it fyi

  • Champignon is a type of mushrooms ? ** confused french speaking sounds **

  • At least this isn’t a Ukrainian Christmas meal. We eat 12 courses

  • The rice part triggered me a bit lmao

  • "Before you comment, the track is.." *Careful, he's a hero*

  • Komrade Boris! I highly recommend to wash rice before cooking in pot to remove as much arsenic and other pizdec that is often found in commercial rice. Also give a much better texture to the rice! 😊

  • Alu-me-nu-me-um 😂😂😂

  • 1:54 it is a big cyka xDDD

  • Sitting here in my couch, drunk on a Sunday.. what to do? Just chill att watch Life of Boris :D

  • 8:30 I paused the video and went onto do something else and that stupid song kept playing in my head, so I started thinking I was possessed by the spirit of Home Alone. Finally I’m at peace knowing where the earworm really came from!

  • You are a good soul, Boris. Not like Igor, he is Urod.

  • This tastes like shit not even lying.

  • Screw the Merrovingian. No cursing sounds as flavorful as eastern European cursing.

  • 2:00 "not that basic" HowToBasic: Am I a joke to you? (no offence).

  • Seed oil called " zolotaya semechka"( golden seed)

  • Boris... lol. That salmon can be cooked in 12 minutes @350 farenheit. Yes it will get softer because of everything else but, softer does not mean tender lol. Blyat!

  • use tilapia if you can't afford salmon. if you want the oiliness of a Salmon, add some anchovies.

  • Привет

  • NOO!, not the cabbage.. My cabbage is gone...

  • Boris can you make a shepherd's pie???

  • This would be perfect to serve on December 26 a lot of Russians would understand what happened on December 26 1991

  • I am just here for the soothing voice
