Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

  • wasn't it a Career Politician, a few years ago, who was trying to make fun of farmers saying that there's nothing complicated about farming, he said you just push a seed in the ground and it grows all by itself........ coastal elitist morons

  • She's a sweet ride! That's what he said!

  • You are a work horse

  • Is that the x9 7:18

  • I'm only 15 year but I want to work in your fields and their is one more reason because I'm in india

  • My Momma always told me to suck on a nice big dill pickle for my sore throats. To this day, it still does the trick!

  • It is an Awesome video and i like because you let us see your little girls. It is awesome to see your wife doing some of the farming and that your girls are part of your farming operation. Your son dose a amazing job running the grain cart. Maybe he will follow you in the farming business. GREAT JOB for the WHOLE FAMILY.

  • Another cool episode from the life of a farmer ! I guess i am that kind of guy that loves agriculture stuff going on !

  • Salted nut roll vs payday bar

  • I’m subbed bro

  • I agree I live in kansas city...who says soda :-) lol

  • Wow that's pretty neat you have Auto Steer

  • Does it have the same shuddering in the tracks like you were getting in the JD?

  • Zach I can't watch any of your newer videos because the ads won't load and the video won't play. Please contact HRdown as this is only for your channel and I can't be the only viewer experiencing this, I've never had this issue with any other channels. Sucks because I love your channel.

  • Soda....in the south. Pop....where they dont know its called "soda". Lol It was explained to me like this..... Back when they became popular, they were called "soda pop". Also back in the day, you had "soda jerks" , referring to the guy or girl , who prepared your "soda" in the soda shops. The "jerk" referring to the lever they pulled, or "jerked" to fill the container. We call em "floats" today in the south... But in truth, both "soda" & "pop" came from the same product...sort of. Totally depends on where you are , as to what its called, but a Soda Pop is the same thing . Just a few generations after the "soda" shop gave way to "coolers".. We've all seen the old Coca Cola coolers .. When I was young, you raised the lid, grabbed a cold Cola . That gave way to the vending machines that we still see today. Although , today you pay 2 bucks for bottled water with your Credit/Debit card. When I was young, you got an 8 oz bottle of Coka Cola for a quater. Or less... Way too much info, I know. But there it is..

  • Thunderrrrr! Always, never leave it out, and I'm really glad Ila is doing well, always love Jim's comments. and you can see your dad getting into the videos more, he may even start running his own camera :D. Great videos.

  • 210 people must be upset they use soda instead of pop. I don't care either way lol

  • I subscribed A while back learned a lot about farming that I have been wondering we had A small family "farm" 100 acres most was rented out to bigger farmers my dad took me to visit one was amazed at their shop and amount of equipment and support equipment at the time I thought that they were "RICH" people

  • The wife or the tractor

  • Sweet ride.......😏

  • I grew up on a farm in the 50's & 60's. Worked for many area farmers & loved it. Things have changed so much it is fascinating to see the equipment of today, the technology being used & all the equipment we didn't have back then. I have to laugh at the ridiculous comment Michael Bloomberg made about how simple it is to be a farmer!

  • North of the board its a pop Great video.

  • Just a little bit of information about the Australian shepherd, "Dige". The breed was developed in the United states in the early 20th century. Don't know how it was named "Australian shepherd ". I guess I could just Google it. Dige doesn't like the cold weather and it doesn't have any connection to the Australian part of the breed name. Probably just a smart dog.

  • Call it "Cadi-trac-Red"

  • Can I come work for you 👍

  • What is it about salted nut rolls that farmers like so much? My dad has eaten them since I can remember. And since moving back to farm, my husband is now hooked on them too.

  • why wouldnt they put a sight glass all the way up the outside to see what the levels are...I'm a dummy but R and D was my expertise anyways stay safe family and GB yall~

  • Yup she's a sweet ride I bettin....😀👍

  • You need to try the Chocolate Payday bars. I used to eat them in the 1980s before they took them off the market. I'm glad to see them come back.

  • "POP"...

  • That pond or lake at the 17 min mark looks like some great duck hunting

  • I imagine she is!

  • What radio system do you use for the tractors, combine, and trucks?

  • 7:02 😂

  • Too true, another great episode, I subscribe this time :)

  • Nice brother

  • I'd call it the Trumpster. Probably wouldn't have had it if H was in office. Hell you might not have had your farm at all comrade. Or maybe Little Red. I know you Millennial's are true blue.

  • I realize that you are playing with us about the red tractor. However, if you turn colors, I'm out of here.

  • You have a very attractive wife. You should show her more to help your ratings.

  • Sup

  • When he was discussing the weather did anyone notice the combine in the background???

  • She is much better looking than you.

  • Hey people Subscribe already. You enjoy the content, it's not costing you anything, but it helps the channel. Just hit the red button on the right. End of PSA.

  • Your new job name job title is gopher go for this and go for that LOL

  • THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Since he did say it

  • greetings from Indonesia, watch our channel there are young people who are successful in farming and raising livestock🌾🌱🌾🌱🌱🐏🐏🐑🌱🌾🌾🐑🐑🐑

  • As kids in the 80’s when combining in usually late November, we kids, including cousins were thrown in the combines and each combine given a straw broom. Every quarter mile we had to stop get out crawl in back of combine and use broom to push snow through sieves and sweep snow out of inside combine. Yep when it snowed 13 year olds got to combine corn. Did I forget to mention that heaters weren’t the best in 70s combines...

  • It seems everyday your oldest daughter looks more and more like the Mrs.

  • I’m a Michigan transplant to Virginia. “I” still say it’s “Pop”.
